VM Create Snapshot

Activity Description​

Snapshots a Virtual Machine's state.

Settings​

  • Host Name—The host name or IP address. This must be either the vCenter device or the ESXi device (you can configure the device with Platform type vCenter/ESXi under Devices).
  • User Name—The user name of an account that has read/write access to the host.
  • Password—The password of the account listed in the User Name field.
  • VM Name/UUID—The name/UUID of the Virtual Machine.
  • Snapshot Name—The created snapshot's name.
  • Snapshot Description—A short descriptive text of the snapshot.
  • Save Memory State—Determines whether to save the memory state with the snapshot.
  • Pause Disk Writes—Determines whether to stop writing to the memory when creating the snapshot.
